Our Services

  • Community acupuncture is practiced in a group setting, rather than one-on-one. Patients can be treated fully clothed quickly and effectively while resting comfortably in a large communal, semiprivate space by using distal points and micro systems (legs, arms, hands, feet, ears, etc.). This keeps the cost to a minimum.

CHA operates on a sliding scale to keep your health care within your budget so that you can get the number of treatments you need in a shorter period of time.

There is no substitute for the level of care you can get with one of our private sessions, but for many people private treatments are either not necessary or not necessary long term. Once your concerns are stabilized, community acupuncture is a great way to help move you towards your health goals and to maintain your progress.

  • Sometimes you need one-on-one care or just prefer a little bit more privacy. Our private treatments give you an hour with one of our skilled practitioners. This gives you undivided attention, more time to address your concerns and receive a multimodality treatment to meet your specific needs. Each practitioner has a unique skillset, please visit our bios to learn more.

  • Asanas, Kundalini, meditation, and breath work are integral practices that promote holistic well-being and personal transformation. We provide private sessions tailored to individual needs, enhancing their journey through these powerful modalities.

Community Health Acupuncture also offers regular group meditation every 4th Sunday at 12:30 PM. These sessions provide a communal space for participants to deepen their practice together. For those interested, registration for in-person attendance is available online.

  • Cosmetic acupuncture uses Traditional Chinese Medicine theory combined with a deep understanding of the muscles in the face and neck to build collagen, tone muscles, improve circulation and stimulate blood flow. This holistic approach helps reduce signs of aging, sunspots, acne and acne scarring. Patients get the best results when they commit to weekly treatments for 10 consecutive weeks.

Microneedling uses a handheld device with tiny needles to puncture the skin and cause micro-injuries. This helps with the absorption of serums and skin care products as well as trigger the body to produce collagen and elastin during the repair process creating improved skin texture and firmness. Microneedling is a slightly more aggressive approach than cosmetic acupuncture and would be a better choice for scarring (all over the body), enlarged pores, deep wrinkles, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. People see the best results when they commit to a series of 6 monthly treatments.
